Announcing new deal for junior anglers from April, 2019.

Junior Licence

If a junior (under the age of 18) purchases a day ticket they are then able to apply for a full junior season ticket as a junior season ticket is the same price as a day ticket.
They can purchase the day ticket to enable them to fish upon the river that day and can then send the day ticket off to be redeemed for a full junior license.
To do this please follow the instructions as if you are applying for a new membership, they will need  passport photos for their identification cards, send the day ticket and photos to the address on the application form and within a few weeks they will have their  full junior licence back.
In the meantime they can continue to fish but take a photo or some copy of the day ticket just as proof if stopped by another member, bailiff or officer of the law.

The junior member will then be placed on the mailing list of the club and all relevant information about club events and renewals will be sent though the post.

Rod Licence Laws which apply to Juniors

Children under 13 do not need a rod licence.

Licences for children aged between 13 and 16 are free, but you need to apply for a junior licence to allow you to fish.

Children between 16-18 need to buy a rod licence.

All information can be found on this web page https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/buy-a-fishing-licence
